Mantra chanting and kirtan in Woonona, Bulli area of Wollongong

Kirtan & Chai

THIRD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

~

The devotional practice of chanting Kirtan is one of the fastest, easiest, and most joyful ways to uplift the spirit, open the heart, and bring inner peace. The mantras are mystical universal sounds that resonate with our being, removing negative energies.

Anthony, a gifted percussionist, plays from the heart, while Alyson and Jazmine, completely in love with the harmonium and mantra, weave threads of love through their chanting together. They believe Kirtan creates feelings of oneness and heart connection—one of the highest goals of yoga.

An energy exchange in the form of a donation is welcome.

All donations go to charity.

Drumming Circle

LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH

~

Through drumming together, we connect with our own innate rhythms as well as with one another. Drumming unifies, invigorates, and helps us release tension as we remember and feel into this ancient tribal medicine that has been with us since the dawn of mankind.

There’s something ancient that awakens when we sit in circle and drum together.

~ It helps release stress and stored tension

~ It supports nervous system regulation

~ It strengthens coordination and focus

~ It boosts mood and energy

~ It builds connection and belonging

~ It invites play, expression and creativity

~ It creates a deep sense of grounding and unity

Anthony is a percussionist and Djembe drummer who holds a deep love for rhythm, syncopated beats, and the freedom that comes with discovering one’s own innate drumming pulse and ancient timing.

Any level is welcome—we have African Djembe drums. Otherwise, bring your own drum with you, whether it needs dusting off or enjoys a regular warm-up!

An energy exchange in the form of a donation is welcome.

Gentle Yoga & Sound

EVERY SECOND WEDNESDAY

~

This experience includes restorative yoga, guided breathwork, meditation and a sound journey.

We come together with the understanding that we all hold the tools within to heal ourselves, and that soothing organic sounds awaken our ability to connect with our inner self and retrieve information that can help us improve or heal.

Many spiritual paths state that we are already whole in our essence, and only need to journey within to find the answers and feel that.

Passionate about ancient healing traditions and ethnic music styles worldwide, Ally and Anthony weave a musical journey with a soundscape from Africa, India, the Indigenous Americas and the Caribbean.

Using Tibetan bowls, Hang drums, acoustic guitars, harmonium, voice, medicine drums and organic percussion – t
his sacred space encourages you to surrender and embrace the healing frequencies of sound to transition from high beta states of stress and distraction to the calming, restorative theta waves of deep relaxation and meditation.

Anyone is welcome, and no experience is needed.

Slow Flow Yoga

TUESDAY & THURSDAY EVENINGS

~

An intimate evening practice to help you land softly, breathe deeply and come home to yourself.

Each Slow Flow class is carefully curated around a weekly theme,— perhaps an element, mantra, yoga sūtra, quote, or teaching — offering a thread of reflection to move with, breathe with and gently invite deeper connection and self-inquiry.

The practice begins with grounding meditation and pranayama, then unfolds into slow, breath-centred movement that is gentle, steady and low impact. Rather than pushing or striving, you’ll be invited to move with awareness, listen inwardly and create space in the body and mind.

Held in low lighting, these evening classes are intentionally shaped to support nervous system balance, down-regulation and inner steadiness.

The practice closes with Śavāsana, sometimes accompanied by sound or Yoga Nidrā, allowing you to fully rest and integrate the practice.

A nurturing class for anyone seeking a gentle way to unwind, reconnect and steady themselves at the end of the day.
