A Sacred 12-Day Pilgrimage Through South India

Our Pancha Bhuta Shiva Yatra is a sacred 12-day pilgrimage through South India, journeying to five ancient Shiva temples dedicated to the elemental forces of creation — Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether.

For centuries, pilgrims, sages and seekers have travelled to these holy places to receive darshan, offer prayers, and contemplate the profound truth that the same elements which form the universe also reside within us.

From Earth to Ether

An outer pilgrimage through sacred land,
An inner pilgrimage through the elements of the Self.

Beginning with the grounding energy of Earth and culminating in the vastness of Ether, this pilgrimage follows a sacred progression that mirrors the ascent through the chakra system — from the root centre to the crown.

As we move through each temple, we will explore the qualities of its corresponding element through daily yoga, mantra, meditation and spiritual reflection.

Living Ritual, Ancient Tradition

A special aspect of this pilgrimage will be participation in traditional temple worship and sacred rituals performed by local priests according to ancient customs preserved for generations.

These ceremonies offer a rare opportunity to experience the living spiritual heritage of India and to honour the elemental powers that sustain all life.

Each day we will gather in devotional kirtan, allowing the heart to open through sacred song and community.

There will also be time for contemplation, personal practice, visits to local community projects, and quiet exploration of the temple towns and sacred landscapes we encounter along the way.

  • Mantra and spiritual reflection

  • Devotional kirtan

  • Temple worship and sacred ritual

A Spacious & Supported Journey

The itinerary has been carefully designed to minimise travel and allow spaciousness within the journey, with comfortable transport and regular opportunities for rest and integration.

This is more than a tour of sacred sites.

It is an invitation to undertake an inner pilgrimage — to deepen your connection with the elements, awaken subtle awareness, and walk in the footsteps of countless seekers who have journeyed through these holy places before us.

Places are limited, and we will be reaching out to those on the waitlist first before opening registration more widely.

If you feel called to journey with us through the sacred landscapes, temples and elemental wisdom of South India, please join the waitlist below - we would love to hear from you.
